Student developments can now be patented with the help of AI — presentation of “POSINT” at the Quantorium of ChGPU (Кванториум ЧГПУ)

A working meeting on the introduction of modern digital solutions into scientific, educational and engineering activities was held in 2026 at the Quantorium of the Chechen State Pedagogical University (Чеченского государственного педагогического университета).

The ChSPU Quantorium is a venue where schoolchildren and students work on real engineering projects and master robotics, 3D modeling, industrial design and other high-tech fields.

The meeting participants discussed how artificial intelligence can simplify the patenting of student developments, speed up patent search and help future engineers think like technology entrepreneurs.

Anton Krivonogov (Антон Кривоногов), a patent attorney of the Russian Federation and the developer of Russia’s first AI engineer for patenting, presented the patent assistant “POSINT”.

The presentation showed how the service helps to go from a technical idea to prepared materials for filing a patent application for an invention. “POSINT” performs patent search, analyzes more than 100 million patent documents, checks the uniqueness of a development, helps assess patentability, drafts a description of the technical solution and generates patent drawings.

Together with Anton Krivonogov (Антоном Кривоноговым), the presentation was given by Akhmed Tagirov (Ахмед Тагиров), Director of the Engineering Development Center of the Grozny State Oil Technical University named after Academician M.D. Millionshchikov (Грозненского государственного нефтяного технического университета имени академика М.Д. Миллионщикова). The Center develops new industrial designs and carries out reverse engineering and design work — precisely the fields that require prompt checking of solutions for novelty, patent clearance and readiness for further patenting.

The participants showed particular interest in the possibility of commercializing student projects using AI in research and engineering. As noted by Magomed-Ramzan Khadisov (Магомед-Рамзан Хадисов), Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Art and Management in Education of ChSPU (ЧГПУ), the use of an AI service not only simplifies patenting, but also helps students develop entrepreneurial thinking, see real technological products in their study projects and understand the stages of their legal protection.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on introducing “POSINT” into the curricula and research projects of the ChSPU Quantorium. Using the service will allow students and teachers to carry out patent research faster, work with patent information, prepare materials for applications and develop promising engineering solutions with due regard for intellectual property requirements.
